Seville to Train Chinese Guides

With an eye to cashing in on the fast expanding Chinese travel market, Seville aims to become the first Chinese-friendly city in Europe.



China is all set to become one of the world’s most important tourism feeder markets and, with this in mind, the city of Seville plans to train 30 Chinese volunteers as tourist guides over the next four years.



The trainee guides will learn all about the city’s chief monuments and heritage sites, in addition to its flamenco tablaos, tapas bars and bullfighting culture.
