The innovation and knowledge transfer forum features a highly specialized programme.
The 4th edition of Transfiere, European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, will be held in Malaga from 11-12 February, positioning it as Spain’s top scientific-technological event.
The coming edition of the forum will have a highly specialized programme revolving around innovation and its convergence on an international level, the role played by technological platforms, and entrepreneurship related to R&D&I. Universities, research groups and companies will again attend the forum with an eye to encouraging intersectoral knowledge transfer.
As in previous editions, the forum will include an online appointment agenda for arranging meetings between the chief business sectors, such as aeronautics and aerospace –present for the first time– agrofood, energy, industry, infrastructure and transport, environment, healthcare, ICTs, and public administration. Transfiere offers the scientific-research community, with an accent on universities, a unique opportunity to present the results of their work to the business community.
At the International Innovation Forum, the state of affairs as regards research in Spain will be analyzed, along with the R&D&I strategies of the country’s different regions, models for promoting innovative SMEs in USA and the European Union, innovation policies in benchmark countries like Israel, systematizing innovation and its assessment in SMEs, and financing models and successful case studies.
Furthermore, it is expected that the figures for this coming edition will surpass those of 2014 by 30% on average, highlighting a 40% increase in international delegates, over 400 companies, in the region of 260 research groups and 60 universities, around 40 stands, and over 4,100 prearranged appointments. There will also be keynote speakers and guests from 22 countries, such as Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Iran, Israel, Malaysia, Morocco, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Russia, South Korea, Tunisia and USA.
