To unwind under the sun in Gran Via, while sipping a cocktail or taking a refreshing dip with views of the Royal Palace is within everybody’s reach. From the busy streets to the agreeable surrounding of the hotel’s roof garden, that is what the Emperador Hotel offers residents and tourists, alike, year after year on its 10th floor.
Opening from 1 May-30 September, this emblematic 400sqm+ roof garden is an ideal place to soak up the sun in the Spanish capital. In addition to the city’s residents, many are the international tourists who make the most of the long summer days to relax here.
The roof garden features a spacious solarium equipped with sun beds, a large 3m-deep swimming pool, changing rooms with lockers, a bar offering a selection of delicious cocktails and lunch options, chillout areas, and incredible views of Madrid’s skyline, among other things. For real sybarites, this year the solarium also has a number of exclusive daybeds where they can indulge in a siesta followed by champagne and fresh fruit brochettes. This appealing option is also available to those clients booking the Summer Corner Junior Suite package, including junior suite accommodation and daybed, via the hotel’s official website: www.emperadorhotel.com.
In short, guests staying at the Emperador Hotel will have free access to the roof garden during their stay. For their part, non-guests who would like to use the roof garden’s facilities can buy tickets whose price varies from €35 (Mondays-Fridays) to €48 (weekends and Bank Holidays). Other options include access to the roof garden from 2.30pm onwards from Mondays-Thursdays, including the menu of the day, for only €45. The fixed lunch menu from Mondays-Thursdays costs €24 and the à la carte menu is available every day of the week. For regular clients, there are two special five-day vouchers costing €140 (Mondays-Fridays) and €184 (weekends and Bank Holidays).
Barbecues, pool parties, product presentations, cocktail parties or any type of function geared to promoting a brand can be held at this venue, which hosts some of the most important society events in Madrid during the summer months.
