Through its CSR programme "Commitment," Exploramas participated in the activity organized by this environmental association in which 90 new trees, along with 800 seeds, were planted in the Puerto de la Gitana.

On Sunday, 19 January, the corporate event agency Exploramas participated in the reforestation activity organized in Puerto de la Gitana (Mijas) by the Forests of Spain association.

In the same area, one of the most damaged by the terrible fire of 2012 which affected five municipalities of the Costa del Sol, Exploramas organized two reforestation initiatives for 300 employees of two multinationals at the end of last year.

As more work will be necessary so as to totally recuperate the area, last Sunday the Forests of Spain association organized a further reforestation initiative.

Using its own resources, Exploramas participated in the initiative in which 90 new trees, along with 800 seeds, were planted. "It is proof of our commitment to the environment in which we carry out our activities," explained Manuel Araujo, CEO of Exploramas, "in the framework of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme which we launched in 2007, and whose aim is not only to respect and protect the environment but also to try to improve it."

In the framework of this project, Exploramas has signed agreements with a number of town councils and non-profit organizations with the aim of implementing green and social initiatives, through its own activities or involving its corporate event clients.
