Owing to the excellent results obtained during the last two years, Event Planner Spain, the first Andalusian portal for meetings and event planners and service providers, is expanding to the rest of Spain and Morocco. Meetings and event venues and service providers operating in both countries now have the opportunity to advertise their services on the portal with an attractive profile page for a three-month trial period with no strings attached.
Portal profiles, which are like a small webpage with their own Url, containing the logo, photos, videos, news, Google map, and full description, allow members to position themselves in Google with the keywords/phrases of their choice. Since profiles contain full contact details, meetings and event professionals from Spain and abroad can contact members directly – by phone, e-mail, hot link to their website, or automatic RFP system –, or alternatively by sending their RFPs to the portal’s main office in Malaga, which are then out to a selection of companies or venues providing the services they need; and all without commissions either for end clients, who do not have to register, or portal members, who only pay a reasonable yearly fee.
In addition, members can post their special offers and news on the portal free of charge. The English or Spanish translations of profile copy, special offers and news are also free.
By becoming a member of the portal, event venues and service providers will profit from
quality content, in Spanish, English and French – and this autumn in German as well –, as well as from Event Planner Spain’s online and offline marketing campaigns at tradeshows (EIBTM, Imex, World Travel Market, Fitur, Confex, etc.) and in specialized media (High Profile, Events Magazine, one+ de MPI, events-box.de, fvw, Hotel Resource, etc.), as well as the portal’s active membership of a variety of meetings and event industry associations (SITE, MPI, the Costa del Sol Tourist Board, and Malaga Convention Bureau).
