On Friday, 11 May 2012, the Madrid Congress Centre hosted the Ordinary General Meeting of the Association of PCOs of Madrid, where the accounts of the past financial year were discussed and approved, among others points of the agenda, and the new members were welcomed, including Madrid’s Emperador Hotel.
The aim of OPC Madrid, which has over 100 associated meeting and event venues and suppliers, is to boost the competitiveness of its members, encouraging professional and business collaboration between them, representing and defending their interests, and helping them to improve the quality of their services, thus projecting a strong joint brand image.
During the meeting, which was attended by a large number of the association’s members, Matilde Almandoz, OPC Madrid’s chairwomen, stressed the importance of combating the problem of unlicensed service providers, while putting the accent on suitable communication strategies that contribute to highlighting the valuable work of PCOs.
