About Carmen de Torres’ Flamenco Studio
Carmen de Torres’ Flamenco Studio is located in Castilleja de la Cuesta – five minutes’ drive from downtown Seville – birthplace of Rita Hayworth and many other famous artistes. Flamenco dancing and singing are taught from the most basic levels to the most advanced for amateurs and professionals, alike; many of Carmen’s students dance professionally in Spain and around the world. Private classes, intensive courses or workshops and general classes are available from October to June. Giving students a solid grounding in flamenco, bringing people closer to this universal art form, developing an activity which is good for the mind and body and of course teaching students how to dance and sing according to their individual talent and ability are among the studio’s main objectives.
