The Congress, jointly organised by the Hungarian Federation of Rural Tourism and EuroGites, will include an excellent scientific programme, with well-known keynote speakers, including Bernard Lane, Graham McKenzie from TravelMole and Ladislav Miko from DG Environment European Commission, who will discuss trends in rural tourism, sustainability, the Internet and online booking and other current themes.

At the end of the congress, an Official Statement on the Challenges and Strategies for Rural Tourism in Europe, providing the sector with basic guidelines for the future, will be issued and signed.
