Almuñécar will host, as every summer, the VII Edition of the Tropical Festival, between June 23 and July 2 of this year, with a participation of more than 200 musicians.
Parades and concerts of bands, drums and sounds from all over the world will once again fill the streets with music, colour and joy. This time during the Festival period we will be visited by 5 Norwegian bands along with local bands, who will spread their art through the town of Granada. There will also be a wide variety of cultural activities and exchange of experiences between foreign groups, who will also visit neighboring localities.
Thanks to the great acceptance on the part of the local entities, neighbors and tourists of Almuñécar, they are more and more numerous the bands and musical groups that want to be part of this event, where last year surpassed the 4000 assistants. The company Indigo Travel & Events, together with local entities such as the Almuñecar Town Hall and the Frigiliana Town Hall, as well as local residents, will be the hosts that will support the celebration of this event, promoting the tourist, gastronomic and cultural image of Almuñécar, a city already established as the appropriate setting to host the festival.
Numerous hotel, tourist and catering establishments will be favored during the stay of the groups at the end of this month, favoring the local economy.
