Self-consumption and advances in efficient energy management will be just some of the topics covered in the 24 talks planned for this year.

The forthcoming edition of Genera, the Energy and Environment International Trade Fair, scheduled to be held at Feria de Madrid from 26-28 February, will include a programme of product presentations and talks, as part of Genera Forum, addressing new developments and solutions exhibited at the fair in a proficient and didactic manner.

This year, Genera Forum will feature 24 talks covering issues such as self-consumption and energy management. Delivered by 12 exhibiting companies, the presentations will offer visitors a wider perspective of the issues to be debated, giving them a deeper understanding of the range of solutions currently available.

The talks will cover today’s burning issues, such as technological advances in biomass; changes in the photovoltaic industry; monitoring, management and control of installations in buildings and homes; self-consumption and net balance; cyber security at generation plants and intelligent flow management.

Genera Forum will take place in Hall 5 during the trade fair.

As Spain’s leading forum for the renewable energy and energy efficiency industry, this 16th edition of Genera is organized by IFEMA in partnership with the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE).

As well as Genera Forum and the main product exhibition, the event will feature an interesting parallel programme of technical workshops, run by the associations backing the fair and covering leading industry topics and trends.

Furthermore, as in previous editions, the most cutting-edge projects in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energies and sustainability will be showcased at the Innovation Gallery.

This year, Genera coincides with Climatizacion, the International Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration Fair. Both shows will focus on sustainability and energy efficiency, providing trade visitors with a broad perspective of developments and solutions in their respective sectors.
